10 years ago, something evil happened that would change the world forever.
10 years ago, evil men attacked us.
10 years ago, the world wept for us.
10 years ago, a new thought entered the minds of many people:
Where was God?

I adore the Lord’s Prayer.
If I were marooned on a desert island and could have only one piece of scripture, it would be the Lord’s prayer.
It contains everything a Christian needs for a healthy relationship with God, and for a deeply profound faith.
It is the most important thing Yeshua taught us.
Could you find meaning in the darkest experience of your life?
Could find a sliver of hope in the most repulsive betrayal?
Could you forgive the ones who hurt you and betrayed you?
Does she need to proclaim he faith in Jesus Christ?
Does she need to be baptized?
How can we tell a dying little girl who happens to be Muslim that she is saved?
The God’s Kingdom on Earth is not like God’s Salvation After Death: there are limits for the Kingdom. And as of now, we Americans apparently haven’t read the wedding invitation carefully, and we are in danger of arriving at the wedding of Christ and the World dressed inappropriately!
That’s all well and good, however, in REAL LIFE I would never endanger my own interests for the interests of another. I have no guarantees that there will be any divine rescue on the other side of my actions. How am I to act compassionately towards others if I starve to death? Only a fool would have such faith…

We are becoming a nation of self-absorbed zombies. Habitually willing to spend $20 a week on over-priced coffee, yet we drop only a buck or two into the offering plate on Sundays. We watch almost 4 hours of television a night, and yet we cannot find time to attend one community event, bible study, or game night. We stuff our fat faces with food we don’t need while soup-kitchens struggle to put out a meal.
Don’t live for you. Live for others first. Put their needs and considerations before your own. Simple… but seemingly impossible for most individual Christians today.
… including myself.
