How spoiled manna can teach us the beauty of death.

What if God, choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath—prepared for destruction?- Romans 9:22

This phrase still makes me pause, because I don’t have all that great of a relationship with the “fire and brimstone” God. God is love, not wrath.

But what then do we do with such a characterization of the Lord? Do we ignore it? Or do we mediate upon it until we can see the light of hope and love even within the darkest of passages.

I say the latter.
